Circa 1962 British "public information film" (aka public service announcement) about a form of part-time foster care. Produced for the Central Office of Information. I have no idea whether this was shown on TV, in cinemas, or both.  Note: this is sometimes attributed to 1960, however since the car featured wasn't on the market until 1961, this is not possible.  Interesting to see minority representation in an early 1960s PSA.

A short video I did of Mount Dandenong Tourist Road in Mount Dandenong, Victoria, Australia.  I took this video on the spur of the moment, and didn't give much thought to composition or anything like that. There was a lot of glare in the camera screen, so I couldn't really see what I was photographing. I also admit the video is more unsteady than I would have liked.  Taken using my sister's Sony Handycam FDR-AX53

An episode of the 1956 syndicated TV western series. Starring Rex Allen.  Note: Although I watch the vast majority of things I upload, I haven't watched this...I hope there isn't any problems with the file.  Note: as of 11 February 2019 both IMDb and Wikipedia say this series aired 1958-1959, but this is incorrect. The surviving footage from an otherwise lost 1956 episode of "Transatlantic Teleview", a television series produced by Britain's Central Office of Information for American broadcast (it was never shown in the UK).  The surviving footage features an interesting interview with two policemen in Soho. I love their helmets.  Among the stations this series was shown on, were WGBH-TV in Boston, KULA-TV (now KITV) in Honolulu, KGO-TV in San Francisco, KSD-TV (now KSDK) in St. Louis, WQED in...

An edition of U.S. comedy film series "Speaking of Animals" titled "Dog Crazy". This was originally shown in cinemas back in 1947, but I upload this to my section because my copy is a later television re-issue copy.  Unfortunately, my copy suffers from an annoying watermark during the opening credits. No, I cannot do anything to fix this. Damn Alpha Video!  I am worried about this file. Does it stream back properly?

A very short bit of filler from 1968. Produced by or for Britain's Central Office of Information (COI). Features no narration, just footage of 1960s female fashion with music accompaniment.  I'm not completely certain, but I believe this is an example of one of the bits of filler the COI produced to fill in gaps in the schedules of TV channels. The COI did literally hundreds of such fillers over the years...

An episode of the British sitcom, which aired 1964 to 1968 on the ITV network, and produced by Midlands station ABC Weekend Television. This particular episode aired 6 December 1964.  This series starred Jimmy Clitheroe and Mollie Sugden. Clitheroe was 48 years old at the time, but he plays a child in this series. He was better known for his work on radio ("The Clitheroe Kid" was a long running radio sitcom, and this TV series was based on that radio show).  A very lighthearted...

An episode of the Australian pop music series. This episode is most likely incomplete, or else is unusually short.  Performers include: Andrea Sands, Sandy Scott, Norma Stoneman, The De Kroo Brothers, and Lynn Rogers. A music video for a Roger Whittaker song is also shown (though he does not appear in it), which was directed by an unrelated man also named Roger Whittaker (whose directing career lasted from the 1960s to 2000s, but for which very little of his output is listed on IMDb).  This...
